What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. It does be part of your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
